Here is a passage of the Bible you should read and some questions you can ask yourself as you reflect.
Psalm 139
Questions:
1 - Do I believe that God is everywhere?
2 - If God is everywhere, is He still focused on me?
3 - If God is everywhere and focused on me, why do I feel distant at times?
Don't forget to post your thoughts and questions.

How do we get closer to God?
That's a great question. Hopefully I was able to answer that in the previous video. I think we get closer to God by going to the places that He is. I will expound more on that in a future video too, but check out the previous video first.
Thanks,
MJ
I did watch it but what are daily things we can do to get there? It seems harder and harder at times.
Great blog Matt,
I agree that too many times we forget that God is truly involved in every aspect of our lives. But, how great is it to know that we serve a God who cares that much!
Thanks for the reminder.
hey matt,
awesome blog, its exactly what where going through right at the moment, the whole distant from god thing, i know hes everywhere, and loves me and is right thier if i need him, but its hard just to stay on track, are stay close to him, but i think one of the main reasons is phisical surroundings, i mean lik, when im at camp i feel close to him, when i go to movement i feel close to him, when i have good christian friends, i feel close to him, i know its just a fleshly barrier, becuase i think we as humans are visual people and so its hard to come to grips with god, my question is how do you stay close to god, i mean i know how to get close to him you know but, i cant understand why i cant stay close to him, i want to feel his grace all the time, his love, and i know its thier if i need it, but its hard to understand it all and everything,
oh wow. that was an AWESOME blog Matt. that really actually got me to understand somethings. it is so amazing that God can be focused on everyone of our lives...just like all of those grains of sand. that is absolutely that most amazing thing ever. thankyou for this blog Matt. i REALLY appreciate it. :)
